AvP update - runners, turrets and warriors oh my

Quick update with a few finished AvP minis, and some photos of the next wip works.

AvP Weyland Yutani Commandos!

Quick update time, managed to finish off some Weyland Yutani Commandos I'd been painting. I'd originally planned to do a white armour and urban cams pattern, but that fell through. In the end I kept the white armour, but went with a grey colour for the fatigues instead. Still happy with the result in the end. 

Helper cat helps as always. Where else but on top of the foam to sit?

Heavy Gear Fleet Scale (or how I learned to love painting small things)

So I took a break from painting ~28mm figures and decided to churn through some Heavy Gear Fleet Scale I bought a while back. And by a while back I mean ~2013 when the line semi got parked; but I guess that's how miniature backlogs go as its always easier to buy rather than paint. I say the line got semi-parked as I think they still do a few production runs a year. 

I managed to paint it all in about 1-2 months which was pretty speedy for me. Luckily enough small things don't need much detail in their painting, which sped things up a bit.
